About Beata Bodynska

My name is Beata Bodyńska. I have been a photographer due to the inner need and desire to capture moments the way I see them. I can’t photograph things or people that somehow seem to be repelling to me. I don’t hunt for the homeless or the drunk in the street and I don’t take part in parades, marches or strikes to catch angry or frustrated faces of those who fight for their rights. I am not an action photographer. I’m desperately looking for values and beauty, sometimes humour. My photographs are supposed to give hope and pleasure, even if I talk about difficult issues like aging or death. Knowing that we are here so short and our being is so painful and disappointing I am escaping from reality, still acting in the frames of the reality, though. I hope you will be satisfied with what you’ll find here.
